Overview:
At Magure, we design and deliver AI systems that operate at enterprise scale and power mission-critical products. We’re looking for an AI Architect who can own end-to-end AI solution design—from data and models to deployment, governance, and long-term operability. This role sits at the intersection of business strategy, engineering execution, and AI innovation.
What You’ll Do
Partner with business and technical stakeholders to shape AI use cases and translate them into feasible architectures
Design end-to-end AI/ML solution architectures covering data ingestion, feature pipelines, training, serving, monitoring, and governance
Define target architectures, including system components, data flows, interfaces, and integrations
Evaluate and recommend platforms, tools, and services (build vs buy, open-source vs SaaS, cloud vs on-prem)
Define non-functional requirements: scalability, performance, security, compliance, observability, and cost
Produce and maintain architecture documentation (diagrams, decision records, standards, guidelines)
Review and guide detailed designs and implementations to ensure architectural alignment
Support PoCs and pilots, and lead the transition of successful experiments into production
Collaborate with security, data governance, and operations teams to ensure safe and reliable AI systems
What You Bring
Strong understanding of AI/ML fundamentals at a system-design level classical ML, basic deep learning, generative AI patterns)
Proven experience designing production-grade AI/ML systems
Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and its data / AI services (or equivalent on-prem platforms like Cloudera)
Solid knowledge of modern data architectures (data lakes, warehouses, batch/streaming pipelines, governance, security)
Familiarity with MLOps practices and tooling (CI/CD for ML, model registries, automated deployment, drift monitoring)
Strong understanding of API-based and microservice architectures
Experience with containers (Docker) and common deployment patterns (Kubernetes a plus)
Ability to clearly communicate architectural trade-offs to both technical and non-technical audiences
Experience Requirements:
5+ years of professional experience in software, data, ML engineering, or data science
2+ years in architectural or technical-lead roles for AI/ML solutions
Proven delivery of at least one production AI/ML system integrated into business processes or customer-facing products
Experience working with cross-functional teams (engineering, data, security, operations, business)
Good to Have (Big Plus)
Hands-on experience with LLMs and Generative AI (prompt design, RAG, vector databases, provider APIs, open-source models)
Familiarity with regulatory and governance topics (GDPR, sector-specific regulations, emerging AI regulations like the EU AI Act)
Experience with enterprise integration patterns (event-driven architectures, messaging, API gateways, IAM)
Strong FinOps mindset for cost estimation and optimization of AI workloads
Experience in change management and enablement (playbooks, internal guidelines, training teams on best practices)
